Custom Work / 01
Carpentry Tailored to Your Space
Every home has its own personality, and your carpentry should reflect that. At LKP Woodworks we build custom shelving, built-ins, and closets that fit the exact dimensions and character of your rooms, whether you are renovating a kitchen, upgrading a living room, or adding a home office.
Off-the-shelf furniture fights your walls. Custom work uses them. We measure the space, talk through how you actually use it, and build storage that earns its footprint.

Shelving / 02
Shelving That Works as Hard as It Looks
Shelving can do more than store things. Done well, it organizes a room and gives it a focal point. We design and install shelving that maximizes space and complements the style of your home, from floating shelves with a clean, minimal look to full-height built-in bookcases with a warm, traditional feel.
Our carpenters work with you on layout, depth, and finish so the shelves suit both your storage needs and your design preferences.

Built-Ins / 03
Built-Ins Made for Your Vision
From built-in closets and wardrobes to shelving units, window seats, and storage walls, we create pieces that integrate with your space and match your style. Each build starts with quality materials and ends with meticulous fit and finish.
Because we also handle interior trim and molding installation in Claremore and Tulsa, your built-ins get cased and trimmed to match the rest of the house, so the new work looks original to the home.

Quality / 04
Craftsmanship That Lasts
We take pride in our work, and it shows in every project we complete. Our custom carpentry and shelving are built to withstand daily use for years, using proven woodworking techniques and the best materials for the job.
Whether you are adding a single run of shelves or outfitting a whole room, our dedication to quality means your home gets the very best. And if the project grows into something bigger, our stair construction and structural framing services are handled by the same careful hands.

Questions / 05
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a design before I call, or do you help with that?
Either works. Bring a photo, a sketch, or just a problem to solve, and we will measure the space and work out the layout, depth, and finish with you before anything is built.
What materials do you use for built-ins and shelving?
It depends on the finish. Painted built-ins are usually built from plywood and poplar or MDF for the face frames and shelves. Stained pieces use hardwood such as oak, maple, or walnut. We will talk through the options and the price difference at the estimate.
Are built-ins better than freestanding furniture?
Built-ins use the full height and width of a wall, hide the gaps where dust collects, and read as part of the house rather than something placed in it. They also carry more weight than most store-bought shelving because they are anchored to the framing.
Can you finish the built-ins to match my existing trim and cabinets?
Yes. We case and trim built-ins to match the rest of the room, and we can build them paint-ready or stain-ready so your painter or finisher can match the existing color.
